i don't know about the rest of you leeches here, but i haven't a breeze what i'm doing here with no seeders... (-: shouldn't the uploader seed the film in the beginning.. ? well i brought my sleepingbag so i guess we can wait and see what happens... (-;
Apparently this tracker doesn't read properly stats for multitracker torrrents. As long as you have a proper client you will connect to more seeds and peers then it shows here.
What a waste. This movie was made to be watched, not read. Where's the English audio track Thora? Lame.
[D] is just flat-out wrong.
I updated Transmission this morning. I'm currently downloading at 0k/sec from 1 of 9 peers, which seems about right for 1 seeder and 26 leeches - the tracker statistics are dead on.
560KB complete. It'll get done, someday. It's not a problem with my connection either - "Pirates 2 - Stagnati's Revenge" is downloading at over 500k/sec from a couple dozen peers, among several other files that are bopping along nicely.

I'm still reseeding this (woohoo we are showing not ONE but *TWO* seeders now, oh wow!), but a word of warning: I can't seem to get the subtitles to work in VLC, dunno why. The track shows up as "English", but for whatever reason, the subs aren't showing on the screen. Been messing with it for a while. Any pointers?
I'll give 2x what I took anyways just cause this movie is so bad-ass and this was the only 1080p copy at the time I searched.

Nevermind. They just started working, NO IDEA why. All I did was start opening other movies and they kept not having tracks, then eventually I found one that was also mkv and did have subs and they worked.. so then I reopened Akira and surprise, the subs work - WTFLOL? Go figure. Anyways, try something crazy like that I guess, it made a difference when changing settings and even restarting the program DID NOT...
Is Mr. Tropius, the dumbest a** on earth? Please keep your stupid coments to yourself!
Freakin nice! Original Japanese language with English subtitles. No corny dub over crap. This ones for the purists. Sound is great! Dolby up the ass and all that. Old animated movie probably can't look much cleaner than this (this movie came out when I was a kid, and I'm old..). Makes my DVD look like shit.

can you re-up or sumthing...too many leechers and not enough seeders...currently dling at 16.2 kb/s with a ETA of 2 weeks...
All the trackers are stuffed, the only one that's working for me is openbittorrent.com.
Any way to fix this.
Also, seed!!! :D

@StateofDreaming
Anime is horribly dubbed universally, even with stellar crew. How you can listen to the lip-sync-version of dialogue as opposed reading/hearing the real dialogue (and better voice actors) is beyond me.
Japanese audio for the win. I've been looking for this for ages, thanks Thora!
